Ongoing Projects
1) Computerization of Birth, Death and Cremation Certificate has already been inaugurated on 02-03-2010 under e-Governance programme in
this Municipality.Citizens are getting computerized certificate.
2) Construction of 2nd Electric Crematorium is 70% completed.
3) Work is going on for the Construction of Community Hall cum Training Center near Subhas Uddyan.
4) New Administrative Building has been inaugurated on 03-03-2010.
5) Door-to-door collection of Waste Disposal is going on rapidly.
6) Beautification of River Front Development work near Jhoutala Ghat has been completed and inauguration of the same will be
soon.
7) Work is going on for the Sewerage Treatment Plant ( STP ) rapidly.
